Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi with a Licensed Guide

Abu Dhabi is nothing like Dubai, and that is what makes it interesting. It is a different culture, a different scale, a different sense of the country. I will show you the capital from several sides: from the most beautiful mosque in the world to its contemporary museums.

Abu Dhabi City Tour

from 1,835 AED / group

Details ↓

On this tour of Abu Dhabi you will meet the symbols of the Emirati capital and hear the remarkable story of its transformation from a fishing village lost in the sand into a city of extraordinary beauty and limitless opportunity. Expect lavish palaces, a magnificent mosque, ambitious projects and a colourful date market, the largest on the peninsula.

Along the way you will understand how a small fishing settlement became, in thirty years, a metropolis of broad handsome avenues and ultramodern towers. You will learn about the wise rule of Sheikh Zayed, the first president of the UAE, and visit the majestic white Grand Mosque named after him. It is a genuine source of national pride: it holds more than 40,000 worshippers at once and is among the largest and most beautiful in the world. You will also walk the Corniche and step inside Emirates Palace, built for state receptions and leisure, whose finishes used 300 kg of gold. And you will see the palace of Sheikh Khalifa, the country's president.
